Piedmont Magical Garden

The landscape design for this yard covered the front and backyard. In the front yard, an old 1900s tiered brick wall was removed, opening up the lower office view to the surrounding neighborhood. A custom curved stair case with masonry walls and tight fit dry stack craftsmanship replaces the original harsh brick walls. A play on color and texture incorporating native and Mediterranean plantings with cheerful blooms leads you down the stair case to tight fit flagstone patio. The soft peach color of the patio ties in with the warm wood beams and light tan stucco color of the home. Through the arched Redwood gate you make your way to the backyard which opens up to a lawn, perennial plantings, and play area for children. Fruit trees wrap the perimeter of the property and seasonal blooms bring a variety of birds and butterflies.
