Sonoma Mountain Backyard Landscape

The architecture of this house was colonial farmstead.  The backyard was created to mirror the architecture, with symmetrical brick raised planters that face each other, use of flagstone for the patio, and a design to create a courtyard feel.  The planting was predominately Mediterranean, with cold hardy palms, fruit trees, perennials and ornamental grasses. Amongst the planting, sits a secluded hot tub with a view to all the vibrant colors.
